So, the other day I was on the phone with my brother and we were chatting it up about computers. The Boy decides he wants to talk to Big Mike and so I put him on. He talks a million miles a minute and during the conversation he tells my brother several times that he is four years old. I didn't think much of it and honestly, I hadn't noticed him saying it all that often.
When I got back on the phone with my brother he asked if I'd ever seen "Bill Cosby As Himself" and the sketch about him being on the plane with Jeffrey. I hadn't and so he goes on to explain on Bill Cosby is on the plane with a four year old boy named Jeffrey that keeps telling him and everyone else on the plane - I'm four years old. I laughed and said I'd have to watch it.
Well, since that phone call on Wednesday or Thursday night, I have been paying attention and The Boy says, "I'm four years old" a lot now. We went out on the boat with my inlaws on Friday night to see the Christmas lights in LGB Harbor and he even told my MIL twice as they were walking up the gangway. It's really funny.
I posted it as my Facebook status the other day and my friend (who had her baby boy the same day about 45 minutes before me) said that her little boy and saying it all the time too. I wonder if it's a four year old. I think it's awesome and quite hilarious.
I'm starting to get caught up on pictures, so I've posted one tonight. It's from The Boy's birthday celebration at preschool. Isn't his teacher darling? We love her.
