In The Works

Well, a way cutie patootie LO of my niece is coming ASAP. I had a problem downloading the elements to the kit, so as soon as we get that bug worked out, I will finish and post it. Guess what? I made it possible to subscribe to our blog! That means if you put your email into the little box to the left, it will email you everytime I update the blog. I think it is so cool! I get subscribe to some of my favorite digidesigners blogs and so I thought my family and friends would want to subscribe to us, so they knew when I posted something new and exciting. This way, if you are like me, and forget to check blogs or get tired of checking and there is nothing new, now you'll know for sure! Yea!

Sacrament meeting was rough for us today. I was singing with the choir, The Boy didn't want to sit still, and Will and I were frustrated. So, after I sang with the choir I took The Boy out and made him sit. If he threw a fit, I took him into a classroom and put him on a chair. He didn't like the isolation, so he would settle down and we would go back out into the foyer and practice sitting. I know he's young, but I just want to instill in him when he is young the sacrament is a time for reverence. He can walk around and play the last two hours, but if we can get the sacrament hour down, then I will be happy. We'll keep working on it and do most of our practice out in the foyer. It's just too disturbing to the rest of the congregation to bring him in and out. I know I have a right to be there, but the rest of the congregation has a right to be able to listen and enjoy the meeting. I've been trying to put myself in another person's place when I think of a situation like this. Would I want to sit behind a family with a kid throwing a fit through the entire sacrament meeting? Nope. Like last night, we went out to dinner for my birthday at Ruby's and these kids came in with their parents and took the crayons out of their boxes and started blowing in them to make this high pitched whistle sound. (1) Totally not dinner table appropriate behavior (2) Even if you tolerate that kind of behavior in your home at your dinner table, there are 40 other people in the restaurant that are trying to have a nice meal out. See what I mean?

I started posting this about 4 hours ago, but I stopped becaue Will wanted to give The Boy a haircut and it is SO cute. He used to clippers and it came out nice and even and he looks very handsome. I will take some pictures tommorrow and let you check it out. I still can't get the elements to unzip for JooJooBeezz ladybug kit, so my LO isn't done. Maybe tomorrow, but not until after the living room is clean and all the laundry is folded and put away. Make sure you subscribe to our blog if you are faithful readers and you just can't bear to know what is going:)

Oh! Shout out to my sis - HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAY!

We just went out to lunch, and Brandon ended up taking Maggie out of the place to calm down outside for a bit. (Poor kiddo just needed a nap!)
