Happy Thank-you-givings Day!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and I have some videos of The Boy and little friend to share with you, but I left the camera downstairs and I am too lazy to go and get it right now:) The day started early for us. JT was up before 7:00 and I needed to get up because I didn't get the pies made yesterday, so I had pies and rolls to make today. I think my recipe for rolls is already doubled, because when I doubled the recipe, it made a whole lot! Like almost 130 rolls! Next time I will just use the recipe I have, as is. The rolls turned out so excellent, and so did my pumpkin pies. I was so pleased with my pie crusts. My mom gave me the best idea, she said whatever pie plate size you have, make the crust that is 1" bigger so you have a little extra dough to play with. It worked perfectly and my pie crusts just worked so much better than last year.

He is still getting used to sleeping in his crib during his naps, so they weren't very long today. I think I need to put up a sheet or something to block out some of the light that comes through his white blinds. We also think that he isn't feeling well. He has diarrhea and his poor little bum is raw. Our friend told us to pour milk of magnesia on it and it will heal right up, but we drove around and everything is closed. So, his poor little bum will have to wait until tomorrow.

I really want to get a Christmas tree tomorrow. We have a little lot down the street that sells them and we've gotten our trees there for the past 2 years. However, I found out that Tanaka Farms also sells trees and that is where we got our pumpkin. We had so much fun there and said we would have explored it further, but it was too hot. I also want to get the Christmas decorations up by Sunday, but I don't know if that is going to get done. I also just realized at this moment that I am playing the piano for the Stake Youth Christmas Choir and I need to get on the piano and practice!!!!!

Tomorrow we are getting up bright and early to hit some of the Black Friday deals. I also think the girls are going to get pedictures! Yea! Ooh! And I need to work on my Value Thought for YWs in Sunday. Too much to do and too little time!
