Nothing, Nothing at All

Doing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider"

I haven't accomplished a 1/4 of what I wanted to do this weekend. We didn't get a tree and I haven't gotten my Christmas decorations up. I didn't start my Christmas cards or the surprise presents for my nieces. I did wrap the gifts to go back with my sister-in-law for mi esposo's other sister that lives in Utah. I also got the house semi-picked up. I still need to fold mounds of laundry and get it put away. The Boy has been sick since Thanksgiving Day and so it is hard to get anything done. When he's awake he just wants undivided attention and when he's asleep I'm so exhausted that I just want to sleep. Last night he finally went down around 9pm and I was asleep by 9:15. I haven't been to bed before 10pm since I was still teaching 2nd grade. We didn't go and get a tree because poor baby just wouldn't have enjoyed it. This week is going to be really busy for the esposo, so we might not be able to get it until next weekend, but that is ok, as long as my peanut is feeling better and will enjoy the hunt:)

Tomorrow is Sunday and I have a Value Thought to give and I have Stake Youth Choir practice to go to. I don't have to bring a treat for the YW because it is birthday Sunday and the secretary will be bringing birthday treats. Yea! I am going to try really hard to get my Christmas decorations up tomorrow, but it will all depend on how well The Boy is feeling. When we went to WalMart yesterday with the inlaws, his diaper exploded all over the place right as we were getting ready to check out. It has done the same thing about 5 times since. Ahhhh! We are trying to keep his diaper rash under control and our friend gave us a great idea for treating it - Maalox! It's made for neutralizing acid and that's what is going on, so it is working really well for us.

Eating a Pedialyte popsicle to keep hydrated.

Oh! And yesterday I got to Target at 4:45 thinking it opened at 5am and then found out at 5:15 that it didn't open until 6am! So I stood in line until 6am and waited to see what I could get. I got some fun presents and we are almost done with all of our shopping for all the family members. Yea! I also went and got a pedicure yesterday with the girls and it was heavenly. I haven't had one since April! That is blasphemy, I know. I decided that if anyone ever needs a gift idea for me, they can always get me a gift certificate for a pedicure or a massage. I wouldn't complain:)

Feel better, JT! Kyla, I know how frustrating it is to have a sick little one...just be grateful there's a diaper to catch what comes out...the other way is SO MUCH WORSE!

Oh, one more thing, I addressed your card "The Armstrongs" and realized later that there's another Armstrong family at that address...oops, sorry!
