He Tossed It!

After weeks of successfully doing PattyCake with everything but the "toss" at the end, The Boy finally tossed it last night. The reaction he got out of me was probably frightening because I was so excited! He is probably getting tired of me singing PattyCake to him today. I keep singing it just so he will do the "toss" and so this afternoon he has taken to just tossing it instead of doing the whole song. I guess I better lay off of him for a little while.

We went to Disney's California Adventure today with Grandma and Grandpa and boy was it an adventure. There must have been about 10,000 people trying to get into the park today. We came off of the 5 freeway and traffic was backed up all the way down Harbor from Ball - probably down to Katella. We couldn't even get in the left lanes to turn onto Ball. So we flipped a U-turn on Ball and got close to the parking garage entrance and it was a never ending line and it wasn't moving. So we went down Ball to Walnut and ended up parking in Simba parking and walking through Downtown Disney. It was insane! They weren't even charging for parking because there were so many people. It took us 15 minutes to get through the bag check and another 15 to get through the line. However, once we were in the park we didn't wait for anything. It was really weird! We heard it was Yom Kippur this weekend and some school teachers had an inservice day, so maybe that was what it was all about. I guess we will have to check the calendar for Jewish holidays from now on:) The picture above is The Boy waiting for the Bug's Life movie with his Grandpa. We had just come from the tortilla factory and he ate a whole tortilla by himself. He loved it!

Ooooh! He has also started really scooting yesterday and today. No knee action yet, but he is getting around the floor on a limited basis. We'll keep you posted!
