Halloween Ghosties

We are still a pumpkinless family. However, I did find a place in Irvine that looks pretty authentic. It is called Tanaka Farms and it looks like you really pick your pumpkin. I am going to call tomorrow and find out if they charge you to just come in and look around or if you just pay for the pumpkin. We made Halloween sugar cookies today, just for fun. Well, I really did all the work and The Boy hollered at me from his high chair. He tried a cookie without frosting and he really liked it.

He has started signing "more" the authentic way. He used to (and still sometimes does) clap his hands together when he wanted more. Now he concentrates really hard, closes his fingers together, and then taps them. Yesterday he shared a banana with Grandpa and he wouldn't give him any banana until he did "more" the right way. He is getting more serious about being up on his hands and knees to get around things. He still won't crawl that way, but he will use it to crawl over things. We lowered his crib last night because, although he doesn't pull himself up on objects (only people), we are worried one morning we'll wake to a thud when he realizes he can pull himself up. It's as low as it will go, so that we don't have to mess with it again while he's using it.

Tomorrow we are taking grandma and grandpa to Disneyland to meet a friend and her mommy for a day of fun at Disneyland. That is probably the only thing we will get accomplished tomorrow, besides mutual that night with the YW. That reminds me, I need to get things ready for the class activity!
