Yesterday I decided to put the clothes on The Boy that I got for him last December for this Christmas because he is growing faster than I expected. I bought the clothes in 18 months because I expected he would be at least 6 months ahead, as almost all babies are. However, my little monster is growing faster than the average weed and he's in 24 month shirts and 18 month pants. I wasn't too shocked when I got this little outfit on and it fit perfectly. Well, the onesie fit perfectly and so did the hat. The sweater, pants, and socks will last him a few months. It was supposed to be his one-year-old/Christmas outfit and now I am 2 months early. Well, I guess I'll just have to go shopping!
During Sacrament Meeting he got a little feisty and in his haste to try and escape me, he banged the side of his head on the pew in front of us. So I had to sprint out of the chapel so we didn't totally drown out the speaker's talk. He was pretty heartbroken by the whole thing and cried for a few minutes until I diverted his attention to the drinking fountain. When we got home from church he passed out for over 2 hours and even spent the last hour sleeping with his daddy. They both think Sunday naps are the best.
Today I must tryout the new treadmill downstairs while The Boy is napping, fold the laundry, vacuum, and maybe make a Costco run. He had a rough night last night so I am pretty exhausted today. He was asleep by 8:30, but up at 9:15 and then again at 10:00. We layed him in bed with us and he slept until around 11:00 when I went and put him in his bed because he had passed out. Well, he didn't like that and woke up the minute I closed his door. I couldn't be alert any longer, so he cried in his bed until 11:30, but eventually fell alseep. I don't know what time he got up this morning, but mi esposo brought him to me before he went to work and we slept until 8:00. So that was nice:)
