My shirt is purple with the stenciling on the sleeves.
And some brown spa/lounge pants that were super soft.
We were going to go to the park, but it was kind of rainy in W-town this morning, so we met at the mall instead. We both pulled up and unloaded at the same time and stopped at the pet store first. The Boy was excited to see the doggies, but he wanted to know where the turtles, guinea pigs, and ducks were (ie The Wonderpets). They played so well at the play area for about the first 20 minutes and then it was meltdown after meltdown. So, we decided to go potty and then eat lunch. It perked The Boy up for a few minutes, but then he just started melting down again. So, I decided it was time to go. We had to stop at Cousin C's house to trade cars so they could use the truck to move some furniture, so we did that fast and headed home. The kids passed out within 5 minutes of being home.
Aren't they cute?
I hoped that a nap would help The Boy feel better, but it didn't. He just kept telling me his legs hurt and he would cry about almost anything. I thought I was going to pull my hair out! I was so relieved when Will called and said he would pick up pizza if I ordered it. Well, the number on the coupon that we got off of the last pizza box we had, was for a store in SJC??? What the heck! But I didn't realize that until Will was calling me from our Papa John's saying they had no record of our order. LAME. So, we had eggs and toast for dinner instead.
After dinner I went to deliver the pajama shorts to my friends and make quick trip to Costco. I pulled up to their house right as they were pulling away, so we made a quick exchange and I went to Costco.
Oh! I forgot to mention that I realized last night at 10:30 (when I thought I was finishing up the shorts) that they had button holes! I've never done a button hole, so that was interesting:) It took me a little while, so I didn't get the waistband or hemming done and decided to get up in the morning. I didn't sleep well last night because of the acid reflux stuff I have going on, so I was up at 4:50 and decided to sew. The rest of the short went together without any problems, so I hope they work!
My Costco trip was uneventful and when I got home I tossed The Boy in a bath and got him into to bed. As I'm replacing the batteries in his cow flashlight (he's been in bed no more than 5 minutes), he starts crying! So I stick my head in and his blanket and hands are glowing! He has bitten a hole in the glow bracelet and it's leaking all over the place. Ahhhh! So I send him to Will to get his hands washed while I strip down his bed. He's freaking out because I have to take away his blanket to wash it. He settles down when I tell him I'll bring it to him when it's done. However, he does shout out a couple of times, "Is it done yet?" Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow:)
Here are the 2 most recent days I've done.

Isn't that new play area at the mall great? Tyler loves it.
K:)
Aren't button holes so FUN!?!
I'm jealous that you even have a going home outfit for yourself. I've just looked yucky in old sweats both times.
Did you get a picture of the radioactive boy? That would be fun to scrap: "On the 12th you discovered some radioactive goo and now you have fabulous secret powers! What a GREAT Christmas this year was!"
oh what a fun day. thanks so much for the truck yesterday. so the mall has a new play thing? that's cool. i haven't been to the mall in awhile. i want to go now!!! oh, and moma has been complaining a lot lately that her "leggies" hurt. i think they must be gowing through a growth spurt. my hubby says he remembers his legs hurting a lot during growth spurts. i do not remember ever having growing pains though. weird!
