Thursday - A Sad Good Bye

We were so sad that Mike left today. His flight was early in the day, so we didn't have time to squeeze anymore fun in. However, I did give him his promised haircut. Dang! I should have taken a haircut of my handy work. LOL Luckily he's not as picky as Will and he just needed it trimmed up. I was happy with it and he said it looked good - so hopefully he didn't lie to me:)

When we dropped him off at the airport, I told The Boy that I was going to miss having Mike at our house. He said, "Don't worry, he'll be back tomorrow!" When I explained that he wasn't coming back, he started crying and said, "Yes he do!" Poor little guy.

Oh! And I had joked with The Boy that morning that I was just going to put him on the plane with Mike and send his to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Well, he took me seriously - as 2 year olds will - and he was so crushed when he figured out he wasn't really going to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I think we need to make a trip there soon!
