Yesterday I hadn't let The Boy watch any TV at all. We had played inside and I was getting ready to take him to the backyard to play before his afternoon nap. He started freaking out - pointing to the TV and signing "more". It took me a minute to figure out what he wanted and he kept getting more and more frustrated. I decided to turn on a Little Einsteins while I got him dressed and as soon as I turned it on, he relaxed and smiled. I immediately grabbed my video camera to capture the moment because it was so adorable. I also managed to get a few shots with the regular camera. He was just so chill and he only got to watch like 5 minutes while he got dressed, but it totally calmed his little spirit.
I still haven't taken all of my Christmas decorations down. I did get the tree stripped and put outside. I'm afraid to pull my tubs out of the storage cabinets because of the rat poop we found when I pulled them out at the beginning of December. Mi esposo put some poison in there and I'm afraid to find dead rodents. However, I plan to pull the shopvac up here today and vacuum it out and start fresh. I also started working on my mom's Christmas present that I didn't finish before we left. I am going in about a week to stay for a week and a half, so I want to have it done before I leave. Those are the only plans for this weekend.
