Fabulous Weekend

We've had a great weekend and I'm sad to see it end. On Saturday Will had to go into work and was there until around 2pm. Junior and I played and watched the all new episodes of Little Einsteins and a new series called Johnny and the Sprites. Junior really loves the sprites. Then we went to the reception for the son of a family friend. Our other friend was the caterer and the food was soOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yummy!!!!! So, if you need a caterer, let me know and I'll hook you up with him. Junior took like a 3 hour nap and finally at 6:30 I woke hime up because I knew he would never sleep if I didn't. So, we headed over to Don Jose's for dinner and the food was great for me, okay for Will, but the service SUCKED! Our server saw us twice, to take our order and then to visit us right after our food had been served. This is how that conversation went:

S: Is everything alright?

W: Yes, but can I have some water.

(S gives W a strange look) S: water?

W: Yes.

Two minutes later he comes back with a bowl of butter!!!!! We were so shocked that we just sat there for a second and then I started laughing hysterically. I couldn't stop and the server was across the room just looking at me. He never came back. Junior started getting restless, so I got up and left, thinking that would be a hint. It wasn't. So I finally told the hostess we had been waiting almost 20 minutes for the server and he hadn't come back. So she got us a box and a check and we left the guy a goose egg for a tip. Come on!!!! My chimichanga was awesome, but not at all on my Weight Watchers point scale. Monday will be better:)

Today we had a great sacrament - it was ward conference and Junior did pretty well. It falls right during his morning nap, so I wait for the sacrament and then take him to the mother's lounge to put him to sleep. Then, I put him in the stroller and let him sleep during Sunday School. It's worked pretty well the past 2 weeks. The next two weeks I'll be in Utah, so we'll just come home after sacrament and I'll put him to bed. This evening we went over to the O-family's house for dinner and it was delish! We had shrimp scampi, macademia nut chicken, rice, pasta, salad, and creme brulee. Again, not in my points range. Like I said, Monday will be better.

I have so much to do tomorrow to get ready to leave, so I hope I can get it done!

Oh! And Junior is starting to walk!!!! Today he took 4 steps on his own. It is so awesome. He is going to catch up with Baby D soon!
