This morning we tried to go to aerobics, but it didn't go well. First of all, there was a big set up in the gym, so we couldn't use it. It looked like the missionaries were there for a zone conference. So we go down to the Primary room and get all set up for a modified workout. Well, he just wasn't content and he didn't last long - maybe 5 minutes into the workout. So I decided instead of fighting him that we would just go home and put him down for a nap. He was out within 5 minutes of walking in the door and he slept for two hours! Mama!

We went to the grocery store when he got up and then we headed over to the pediatrician's office for his well-baby checkup. He's totally healthy and doing well. He is 30 1/2 inches long and 25 lbs. That puts him in the 80th percentile for weight and 73rd for height. He has slowed down a little on his weight gain since he became mobile, so that is great. He got four shots - including his flu shot. The poor little bubba was a trooper through the whole ordeal. He needs to have a blood draw, but I opted to do it a different day because he was past nap time and had two sore legs. We came home and he took another 2 hour nap. So, needless to say, he wasn't interested at all in sleeping tonight. He was up until almost 10:00!!! Oh! And the pediatrician found that three of his molars are almost popping out and the last one is working it's way out. I guess that's what has been giving him diarrhea and a temperature. I would have thought the urgent care doctor would have found them on Sunday, but maybe they just finally came to the surface.
Tomorrow I want to bake his cake and get it all decorated so I don't have to worry about it on Saturday. We are just doing cake and presents because I want to be able to focus on him and not worry about feeding everyone else. He's one - we have plenty of years of parties ahead of us! I need to finish up our Christmas cards and get them in the mail. I just can't decide whether or not to use a 4x6 or a wallet of the collage I put together of The Boy for the card. The secret gifts came for my nieces, so I just have to finish the other part of their gifts. I also need to make the gift for both of the grandmas. Too much to do!
P.S. I am also including some pictures and a video from Sunday when I gave him a marshmallow while I was making rice krispie treats.
