I Did It

Well, I did it. I auditioned for Beauty and the Beast. Phew! There were so many talented people there and it was fun to watch everyone put their own take on their parts. There was this girl there that isn't even in our Stake yet, but she *wants* to buy a house in the area because her husband is working for Bosch and they want to live close to where he works. Well, I can tell you that the women trying out for Belle weren't very thrilled about her being there. She is from SLC and it looks like she is a theater pro - something you don't want when you are auditioning. I tried out for Mrs. Potts. I thought about reading for Belle. I have the voice, but I don't have the body. If I were 50 lbs thinner I might have done it, but I just didn't feel comfortable and my chances wouldn't have been very good with all the cute girls there trying out. At this point I think I would like to be in the show even if I don't get a lead. It would be fun to be a part of something and see it all come together. I will keep you posted on how it all turns out.

Today we are picking up my Aunt from John Wayne. She was supposed to be here around 12:30, but the flight is delayed so it probably will be closer to 1:30. I don't know what we are going to do today, hopefully some fun things.

I got asked to be the accompanist for the Stake Youth Choir and I said yes. Uhhh! I hate playing the piano for choirs, but I couldn't say no. The only way I can get out of it is if she gives me the music and I just can't play it. I can only hope:) So those are the things going on at ouf house. We have some fun filled days at Disneyland with my Aunt, a trip to Utah, and Thanksgiving all coming up.
