Never On Fridays

Well, it may be good for some people, but our family definitely isn't cut out for Disneyland on Fridays - black out day or not. It was a mad house today and we only lasted a few hours. It wasn't as crazy as it is during the summer, but it was too crazy for a person that has an annual pass so they don't have to go when it is crazy;) I didn't start the week planning to go on Friday. We were go to do Tuesday or Thursday, but it just didn't happen. When I woke up this morning I noticed it was cooler than it has been and so I was excited that it would also be cooler at Disneyland. It was and everyone else had the same idea. We did get to take some fun pictures, so it was all worth it. We also went on The Haunted Mansion and it is all decked out with the characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas and I love it! That is the one ride I like when they change it from the original. We headed over to California Adventure because I wanted to get a sourdough starter, but the line was out of control coming out of the restaurant and that is where the guy from the tour said I could buy it. I didn't have the patience to find out.

A is for Us and Candy corn???

My major goal for the weekend is to get to a pumpkin patch and get a family pumpkin with our guy for the first time. It is his first Halloween and I want to start the tradition of carving or painting a family pumpkin. We also are going to a BBQ at my friend's house to see another friend that is visiting from up north. My up north friend's little boy was born the same day and about 20 minutes before him. It was pretty fun. They are birthday buddies.
