SUMMER FAMILY FUN

As Promised

This weekend I only accomplished 2 of the 3 things I wanted to do. We did pick up our friends from their cruise ship early Saturday morning and I got to hang out with them for a little while before they drove back to Utah. However, we were a little late picking them up because we slept in too long. Sorry!! I didn't get to see them when they stayed the night before their ship left because I was in Las Vegas with the fam. Mi esposo played host and I know he took good care of them.

The second thing we did do was see my friend from NoCal at a little get together at a friend's house. She told me I could only take the pictures if I posted them on my blog, so here she is! Ha! She has made a previous appearance on the blog as the bathing beauty of our mommy and me swimming class. Isn't her daughter adorable? She is 4 months older than, but I think they have a thing going because she kept kissing him while we were there. The little boy in the picture is The Boy's birthday buddy. He's like a half hour older. Isn't that fun? However, this little guy can run around! It was pretty amazing to watch and he's so handsome!

The one thing I didn't get done was buy a pumpkin for our family. I don't want just any pumpkin, I want one we pick out together from a pumpkin patch. So, if anyone knows of a good one in the area, please post and let me know. We were at the supermarket last night and my crazy esposo tried to get me to set the very sleepy baby (who hadn't had an afternoon nap) in a pile of pumpkins, take a picture, and call it good. I would not be swayed. We will find a genuine pumpkin patch in the OC!

You want us to what?
Here's she is, Miss America!

No, you cannot escape yet.

Nice tight Marin! We're sorry we missed the fun, Dr.'s appointments-drag!
Let us know if you hear of a good patch, that is our plan for this weekend!

Good luck finding a real patch...I grew up walking out in the field to pick out the perfect pumpkin. The best one around here has thousands of pumpkins lined up, and you choose your favorite that way. But it's still fun!
