Lovin' Baby Sign Language

Well, it's not really "baby" sign language, it's just doing sign language with your baby and it was the best idea that was ever invented! JT officially knows how to sign "milk" and "more" and today he did "eat"for JJ while I was gone and then he did it for me when I got home from Mutual. I am so excited! I really wish that he would sign mom and dad, but he doesn't seem interested in either of those. I think he knows what it means when I sign "bath" because he gets really excited and looks toward the bathroom. We will keep working on it and keep you posted.

Ok, is he ever going to crawl? He really wants to, but he just won't do it. He just lies there on his tummy, "flying" like Superman, and screams in frustration. I feel so bad for him because I can tell he is just using all the powers of his mind to will his little body across the floor to his desired location. It just doesn't work. He does roll around a lot, but that doesn't always get him to the exact spot that he wants to be. He also does this strange little scooch every once in awhile if he doesn't have too much ground to cover and the object is right in front of him, but it isn't very efficient and requires a lot of effort so he doesn't like to do it unless it is absolutely necessary. He's been going from sitting to getting onto his tummy, but he refuses to stay on his knees. However, today he did pause for a few seconds before falling down onto his tummy again. Maybe there is hope.
