Easter Family Fun

We've had a fun Easter season.

On Friday for park day we had a little egg hunt at
the Bike Park - love that place!

The kids were excited to participate.
I love this picture because The Girl things she's big.
Look at these cute kids!

This hunt was much more successful than our last one.

That evening we met Will at the park for some pizza

and kite flying.

The conditions were perfect and we had a fun time.

Saturday was General Conference
and we actually watched both sessions.

I ran to my favorite ribbon place with my
friend after the 2nd session while everyone napped.
Well, no one actually napped.
Will wasn't too thrilled with that, because he was looking forward to his nap.

Easter morning was highly anticipated.
The Boy has been compiling a 'wish list' for the Easter Bunny
since Christmas was over.
I explained many times that the Easter Bunny
isn't quite like Santa
and if you ask him why Easter is important
he'll proudly say, "Because Jesus lived again."
::sigh::

The Girl was thrilled to find some 'nandy'.

And the Easter Bunny lived up to the anticipation because
Baby Pluto was in the basket :)

Crazy woman.

That afternoon we went to
Grandma and Grandpa's for an egg hunt
and some yummy Easter food.

The Girl was semi-interested in egg hunting.

The Boy made up for her lack of enthusiasm.
(Thank goodness Aunt V was prepared!)

P.S. About his hair - it was spiky and all cute,
but it was a very windy day.
So about 10 minutes later he ended up
looking like this.
