Who Scrubbed Their Fridge Today?

I did! I did! And now we have twice as much room. I really hate leftovers because they get put in neat little plastic containers and then no one ever pulls them out again and then 2 months later our fridge is packed full with useless, nasty things. So, I purged today and it felt good to get it all out and start fresh.

We had an uneventful weekend. We are all sick and so we spent Friday at the doctor's office - two hours to be exact - and the rest of the weekend just lounging around. I think it was the hardest of The Boy because he didn't really lose any of his energy and I didn't change out of my pajamas for 2 days. So by Sunday evening he was going crazy and so was Will because The Boy was bouncing off of the walls. So, he got him dressed and walked him over to the park for about a half an hour. It did wonders for The Boy's spirits and I got a little rest. Yesterday I took The Boy to the Santa Ana Zoo and he loved that. We went to a fun little animal presentation while we were there and he was an iguana, opossum, hedgehog, and barn owl up close and personal. That was the highlight of the trip.

This week I'm hoping to squeeze in one more trip to Disneyland before our passes expire and maybe make it to park day on Friday. I spent my sick weekend engrossed in reading Stephenie Meyer's new book - The Host. Loved it. I had to read it fast because I just had to know what happened. However, now that it's over, I don't have anything to read! Next week is book club, so I think I'll wait until then to find something else to read.

New things the boys has said:

*"Nevermind." - when he doesn't like directions or requests he's been given
*He says his full name - first and middle - it's adorable.
*He is singing constantly - anything he can think of.
*The other day while doing laundry, I could hear him in the living room saying, "Ok, (animal name), your turn! Cheese! Good job!" He picked up each animal, posed with them, said cheese, and pretended they were having their pictures taken. Priceless.

P.S. I have been a lame picture taker this month. Sorry. I promise to improve.
