We had an awesome weekend and I am sad to see it end. On Saturday The Boy took two awesome naps. That was after fighting his afternoon nap for a week straight. I started to wonder if he is ready to give up 2 naps and drop to 1 and then he drops dead asleep in 2 minutes yesterday afternoon. Go figure! We did go out and watch the family take the boat out to Marine Stadium in Long Beach. We never did get on the boat because they left the infant lifevest in the truck and The Boy was ready for a nap, but it was fun watching Grandpa and AuntH try to wakeboard. Neither of them even got out of the water. Will says I have to try it when we are in Lake Tahoe this summer and I am saying NO WAY! I'm too old to learning something like that. Ha! For you mommies that are reading, do any of you remember what age your kids dropped their 2nd nap? Today was a battle. He jumped around in his bed for 2 hours and never slept a wink. However, this evening he passed out at 7pm, so that was really nice to have 3 hours to myself:) If I drop the 2nd nap, I need to push him to stay up longer in the morning because I'd like to eventually have his nap around 1pm. What do you think? He's almost 15 months. I had hoped he would take 2 good naps until 18 months, but I don't think that is going to happen and if it means he goes to bed earlier at night, I'm all for that!
He is a walking machine and it is so fun to watch. I had a lot of moms tell me I wouldn't like when he walked because he'd be into everything, but he's into everything now, so it's not going to make much difference. Watching him get so excited everytime he successfully takes another step is so fun. He's a ball of energy.
This week I have a lot of cleaning to do so that the house is ready for my family on Thursday. I'm also babysitting for my cousin, I've got aerobics, trying to finish The Memory Keeper's Daughter before Wednesday's due date at the library, try to hold up my end of the sewing for the boutique, and send some belated Valentines to some friends and family.
Oh! A couple of you have asked what we are selling at the boutique. Here's the list:
Peek-a-Boo (a discreet nursing cover)
Dipes and Wipes (a cute little holder for your diapers and wipes)
Changing Pads
Lovies (16x16 blankies)
Burp cloths
Shopping Cart Covers
I'll post some pictures one day:)

Awesome stuff you are selling at the boutique! Bummed I can't go. But I will be in a good place. :)
Mags dropped down to one nap at 16 months. She was ready to go down for it at 11:00 in the morning, sleep until 1, and then was in bed at 7pm. BUT - she's a rooster and would get up at 6:30am. So, if your guy doesn't get up so early, maybe he'll take his nap at 1ish. I'm all for early naps and putting them down earlier at night, though. More time with my hubby. And more time to scrap. ;)
Both my boys were down to one nap before 18 months, but the switch is always a trick. Just expect some days from hell! By the way, you are my blogging idol!
