A few weeks ago at Costco. The Boy was screaming at the top of his lungs because he didn't want to be in the shopping cart, but we were tired of carrying him. So, we decided to sit him in the basket and let him play around. He loved it and we've done it several times since. Well, today I went to Walmart with my MIL to return somethings and see if they had some towels to make a hooded towel for The Boy. My MIL started to walk him around the store while I stood in line for my returns. When I went to find them, I looked in the pharmacy section first because I knew she needed somethings there. I didn't see them, so I kept walking. About 2 aisles away I heard a familiar holler and sure enough, when I back tracked, there he was:) However, once he saw me, he didn't want to be in the cart anymore. I held him for a minute, but he is so heavy, so I set him in the back of the cart to let him play with the items we'd already picked up. I wanted to check the toy lane for my infamous Galactic Heroes, so we headed over there. The thing was totally picked over and I couldn't find anything. My MIL stayed near the playing cards and I walked back a few aisles to see if there was anything of interest over there. I'm over there a few minutes when I heard a cry I know all too well. I sprint through the aisles and find my MIL holding a very upset little boy. She leaned down to pick something up, he took the opportunity to reach for something on the shelf, and went head over heels out of the cart. Luckily, he didn't land head first. We are convinced his Guardian Angel flipped him so that he didn't crack his head open in the middle of Walmart. My MIL was sick with worry and it wasn't even her fault because I shouldn't have let him sit in the back of the cart. The little instructions on the cart tell you not to. Lesson learned. I just found out my niece fell down a couple of stairs at my parents' house. What a way for the babies to ring in the new year!!!
I still need to post a picture of his haircut. I will do that tomorrow. This week I need to take down all the Christmas decorations, rearrange the furniture to make way for his new train table a friend gave us, and scrub down the kitchen. Happy New Year!!!!

You lived my worst nightmare! I'm glad he's okay.
By the way, I'd love for and your little man to meet Ry! I'm here all day, everyday, so let me know!
Yikes! Thank goodness he's okay. Poor thing! I always get scared when I see babies going up stairs or anything like that.
It was so freaky and I said my prayers that day thanking Heavenly Father that he was ok, because it could have been really bad!
