And the Countdown Begins

Well, my countdown to Christmas has begun. We made a list today of everything we need to get done before we leave for Utah on Friday. It's only got 10 things on it right now, but they are pretty big projects. Here is the list:

1. Take care of the bills
2. Clean out the car
3. Get an oil change (if we need one - they didn't put a mileage sticker on, so I have to do research)
4. Wrap all the presents
5. Finish up the gift for my YW board
6. Finish the gifts for the YW
7. Wash the sheets
8. Take the tree down
9. Pack the suitcases
10. Finish the gifts for my nieces

I'll keep you posted on my progress, because I know you'll all just be dying to know how it goes:) This weekend was a busy one for us. I got up early on Saturday and worked on the gifts for my YW board and finished up our laundry from the night before. We went to Costco and then my husband went to get a haircut and get a wire for our Video Capture box (which works now, Yea!), and I took The Boy home for a nap. After the nap we went to the feed store to get poison for the mice/rats that have come around our storage cupboards again. Then The Boy napped again and I made the dinner for the ward party and got myself showered. We went to the ward party and The Boy got his pictures taken with Santa. I will post them tomorrow because I am comfy right now and my memory card isn't nearby:) Afterwards, we put The Boy down for the night and then drove out to my husband's work party. We missed the raffle and the food, but we got to say hello to friends, so it was worth the drive out there. Today I got up and drove over to the church for ward council at 8am, oh, but wait, it isn't until 10am!!! What a freak I am. It also tells you how diligent I've been about going to my meetings! We went to church, came home and made dessert for the family dinner, had family dinner, our home teacher came over, and then I finished up some last minute Christmas cards. Phew!

As I am typing, I have just realized 3 more things to add to my list:

11. Burn the Little Einstein shows to DVD
12. Make the gifts for our moms
13. Make the FHE board for my mom

I better go to bed before I think of something else I need to do!!!!! Run away!!!!
