Blasphemy!
When my mom's friend found out that she had lived in Utah for almost 6 years and she hadn't been to Arches, she was appalled. So, while we were visiting friends and family in Utah, she took us to see the sights of Moab. Well, we really only saw a few, but it was more than my mom had ever seen. I got to see them before my Dad because he hasn't been there either and he wasn't there this time because he had to work. I thought it was especially fun that I got a free ride to the top of the trail and that mom had to do all the work. Mommy's friend promises that when we come back next time we can go on the river. I don't know if I am included in that promise, but I am going to try and work myself into the trip.
We also went to the store in Moab and I got this cool shirt that says "Play in the dirt" and it was dyed with the red clay that is in the area. Daddy got a sticker that says "Raft Naked" - a special treat from their friend:) I think it sounds like fun. On the way back to grandma and grandpa's house we got stuck in a thunderstorm. The rain was coming down so hard that I couldn't concentrate on eating because it was so noisy! Mommy thought it was pretty cool, but I wasn't too sure about the whole thing.

Arches is one of my favorite places on the face of the planet. Ah, Utah.
