December Daily Album: Day 29 Happy Birthday mooEE!

I really can't believe how much she has grown

physically and mentally this year.
It's amazing.
She is quick as a whip and doesn't miss a beat.
She has the vocabulary and attitude of a 15 year old.
(i.e. Holla!, What mom?, No way!, etc)
Her best friend is her brother.
She wants to be like him in every way.
She's partial to her Daddy and doesn't leave his side when he's home.
She wants to be big and insists on walking through the store just like her brother.
She doesn't listen.
She's obstinate, opinionated, and sassy.
She also gives wonderful hugs and sweet kisses.
She is still little and wants her blanky and pluggy - constantly.
She is now the queen of the road trip and was an angel the entire drive.
She is Disney Princess Connoisseur and can sing you any song for any princess.She has a Sixth Sense for candy.
You quietly pop it in your mouth and she is withing a 500 yd radius,
you turn around and she will be there asking, "What's that?"
She wakes up in the morning and says, "I want candy."
She guzzles water like a champ
and makes this funny gulping noise WHENEVER she drinks anything.
She doesn't like having her hair washed, combed, or styled.
But she likes to be pretty and thinks bows and piggies are awesome.
She adores all her cousins
and LOVES when her boy cousins
cater to her every whim.

December Daily Album: Day Nineteen

1. The kids wore their matchy-matchy Christmas clothes to church.

2. I sang with the choir in the Christmas program.

3. The Boy gave a talk on Luke 2.

4. I took a nap!!!!

December Daily Album: Day Eighteen

1. I made some snowman hair clips.

2. The kids and I went Christmas shopping for Will while he as at work.

3. We went to Nordstrom Rack as a family, had a good time, but found nothing.

December Daily Album: Day Seventeen

1. I didn't have anything I HAD to do and it was awesome!

2. We tried to go to the park, but it was rainy, so we played at a new friend's house instead.

3. We had the missionaries over for dinner and the kids loved it!

December Daily Album: Day Sixteen

1. I made 9 dozen sugar cookies and frosted them.

2. I made a Christmas apron.

3. I finished cleaning the house.

4. The kids watched Christmas movies.

5. I hosted my annual cookie exchange.

December Daily Album: Day Fifteen

1. We went to Costco . . . again :)

2. I scrubbed the kitchen floor and made cookie dough.

December Daily Album: Day Fourteen

1. The Girl and I had some mommy & me time while The Boy
had a play date in the afternoon. She's a good shopping buddy.

2. I finished the last of the bow orders until next year.

3. I scrubbed the entry and vacuumed the stairs - a FESTIVUS miracle!

December Daily Album: Day Thirteen

1. I finally completed a BIG bow order and delivered it.

2. The Boy threw up about 10 minutes before we needed to leave to
deliver the bows. Lame. At least it was on the kitchen floor
and not on the carpet. I think it was a bad orange :)

2. The kids and I went looking at lights for FHE.

December Daily Album: Day Twelve

1. The Boy and I made it to church at 8am for choir practice.

2. I shared the left over 'stache cakes and suckers with the YW.

3. We went to look at an awesome Christmas lights display as a family.

December Daily Album: Day Eleven

1. Today we had a rad Tutu & 'Stache Bash to celebrate The Boy's 5th

and The Girl's 2nd birthdays. It was awesome and the kids
had so much fun.

2. We wiped Will OUT!

3. The Kids and I went to the Wtown Christmas party and
the kids saw Santa . . . again :) but with no tears!

December Daily Album: Day Ten

1. We went to park day and had a great time playing with friends!

2. Did a pit stop at Costco where we grabbed stuff for the party
and lunch for the kids.

3. We went to our ward party - just the kids and me.
The Girl made friends with the people across from us.

4. I stayed up making cookies and cutting out mustaches :)

December Daily Album: Day Nine

1. The Girl and I got to spend the afternoon together
while The Boy went to school. It was so fun.

2. I ran errands trying to get things ready for the birthday party.

3. Santa drove through our neighborhood tonight!

December Daily Album: Day Eight

1. We had quite the fiasco at the pediatrician's office this morning,
but one good thing came of the entire thing, we found
out The Girl has a double ear infection!
So now she's on the road to healing.
Poor kid!

2. We read How the Grinch Stole Christmas for our Advent.
I love that story and it's so fun to read!

3. The Boy took a 2 hour nap . . . he needed it:) and I took a nap!
I needed it too!

December Daily Album: Day Seven

1. The kids are both sick and I got maybe 2 hours of sleep on Monday night.

2. We kicked around Target for an hour or so and the kids checked out all the cool toys.

3. After the kids went to bed I put the snowflakes and German paper stars on the tree.
They are my favorite and most prized Christmas decorations.

4. I planned and plotted for their birthday bash.

December Daily Album: Day Six

I took The Boy to the pediatric neurologist.
He confirmed what we thought.
He's experiencing a type of childhood epilepsy with petit mal seizures -
or childhood absence seizures.
It's nice to have a diagnosis, but still a little overwhelming.
The Boy was a champ during the appointment.
So well behaved and cooperative.
He was just thrilled he didn't have to have shots ;)
And he got chocolate.
Let's just hope he can do as well in the upcoming tests
where he has to lay still for 30 minutes.
Hmmm . . .

December Daily Album: Day Five

1. My little guy turned FIVE on the FIFTH!
We had FIVE pancakes for brunch :)

2. Isabella is sick, so Will stayed home while The Boy and I went to church.
I quietly slipped into Primary to listen to them sing Happy, Happy Birthday.
He beamed.

3. We had a fabulous birthday dinner with the A-team.
The Boy exclaimed, "Wow! You made all my favorite things!"
when he saw the food - fruit salad, hot dogs, puffy Cheetos, and Jello!

4. The kids and I put the lights and ornaments on the tree.
The Boy put the star on top while we sang - Star of wonder, star of light . . .

December Daily Album: Day Four

1. It's The Boy's last day as a four year old. ::sigh::

2. We went to an awesome Superhero party and had lots of fun
with bubbles, capes, pizza, cupcakes, and friends.

3. Costco is INSANE! No matter what day or time you go right now.

4. We got our Christmas tree at Home Depot! Holla!

December Daily Album: Day Three

1. Will locked his keys in the car about 20 minutes away at 7:30 in the morning.
I had to wake up a sleeping toddler :(
And after 15 minutes of searching, I couldn't find the spare.
So, the kids and I said a prayer.
I quit panicking & within 5 minutes we found them.

2. We went to park day.

3. I went to a boutique and sock lady was there!!!
Woohoo!

4. We went to the Verizon store and helped Grandma & Grandpa get a new phone.

December Daily Album: Day Two

1. Today we made last minute birthday cupcakes for preschool.
We thought we were going to take them on Monday,
but that won't work, so we whipped them up this morning -
with monkey rings and all!

2. I spent naptime making bows to match The Girl's dress for Santa tonight.

3. The Boy got to go to a Pump it Up Party -
I need to throw one of those birthday parties sometime :)

4. My rad friend saved my life with a black bow tie!
Therefore I didn't have to spend the day trying to make one
for the first time.

5. We saw Santa!!!

December Daily Album: Day One

Did you remember to start your December Daily Album today?

This is my third year and I love it!
It's a fun tradition.
Last year's album never got published . . . so I'm still working on that :)
But I'm moving forward this year.

Somethings I want tor remember about today:
1. The Boy helped decorate by putting up the Disney Christmas Countdown.
He put it up the opposite way of how it's supposed to be done,
but he was so proud of himself and I was so proud of him,
we're just doing it backwards this year :)

2. We wrapped up the 24 books for our Christmas Book Countdown.
Each day you unwrap a book and read it.
Today we read Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed.
Love that book.
Love the message.
We brainstormed ways to help people.

3. For Laurel class activity we went shopping to do the Twelve Days of Christmas
Symbols for someone. So fun!

4. The Boy was kind to his sister and I said, "You're such a kind brother."
And he replied, "I'm going to be on Santa's good list."
Sweet boy.
